Haven't played doom 3 version 1 in a while. used to run fine on my old pc with windows 7. new pc with windows 10 and doom3 won't run after installing.. Since upgrading to windows 10 doom 3 bfg stopped working. doing some digging i found a fix for the steam edition by putting in "+set r_fullscreen -1 +set r_windowheight "1080" +set r_windowwidth "1920" +set r_windowy "0" +set r_windowx "0" into steams launch options. this fixes the vanilla game great. but all my doom 3 bfg mods have their own. Let me preface this by saying this is my first time using an all in one mail app and so far i am loving the windows 10 experience and this mail issue is the only hiccup i am experiencing..
Here is a fix for doom 3 bfg:edition. just put it in your doom 3 bfg:edition folder located in c:program files (x86)steamsteamappscommondoom 3 bfg edition (for steam only)!. The specs are as follows; intel celeron n2840 2.16ghz cpu 4g ram intel hd graphics windows 10 os i definitely meet the requirements for doom 3 but i am confused to why the game won't launch. so if. That's caused by catalyst ai, it captures the arb code and tries to use "optimized" code for amd cards, it works well for vanilla doom 3 but causes havoc on custom mods, workarounds for that are, rename the doom 3 exe to darkatena.exe or disable c-ai using radeonpro..
